Nappies and Formula Supplied
Yes nappies for our 6wks – 2yr olds are supplied. S26 formula is supplied however if your child requires different formula you will be required to supply it.
How do I enrol at a Play and Learn Child Care Centre?
Enrolment Step One
Contact the centre and make an appointment to see through the centre and meet educators. You are most welcome to drop in and visit but knowing you coming in advance helps us to organise our time to spend with you.

If this is your first time using formal care then you must register with Human Services. This will automatically check your families eligibility and determine how much and what payments you are eligible for. To register go to www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/claiming-child-care-benefit
Express Plus Centrelink mobile app
If you’re already receiving Family Tax Benefit for a child, you can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction using the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. To use the app, you need to have a Centrelink online account linked to myGov.
Download the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app from the App Store or Google Play™.
If you’re already receiving Family Tax Benefit for a child, you can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction by calling the Families line on 136150.
By post or in person
You can claim Child Care Benefit for approved care by completing the:
Claim for Approved Child Care payments form, if you want to receive Child Care Benefit for approved care as a fee reduction, or
Claim for Approved Child Care Payments – an annual lump sum payment of Child Care Benefit, and read the information booklet if you want to receive Child Care Benefit for approved care as a lump sum, or
Registration for formal enrolment – for families claiming Child Care Benefit as a lump sum payment form which will enable child care services to send attendance during the year before you submit your lump sum claim.
Enrolment Step Three
You have now decided to enrol your child at the service. Complete the enrolment form either on-line at home or at the service by following the links on our website. Why On-line?? This allows us to capture your details accurately and automatically uploads into our software system saving endless hour of data entry. This allows us to do what we do best and that is be with the children.

Enjoy a play date with your child before your enrolment commences.
Fees and Benefits
What are the costs?
Infants 6wks – 2yrs $95
Toddlers 2 – 3yrs $92
Kindergarten and Pre-Prep $90
This fee structure will remain the same until our review in January 2019.
No charge to parents for Public Holidays.
If your child is away for an absence then the daily fee is charged. This is due to our staff being permanently employed so wages need to be paid. Once you have entered an agreement to enrol completed the enrolment form with a start date the service will charge for those days.
Holiday rates can be applied when you take holidays, providing that your account is up to date. the rate is half your normal fee and each family is entitled to four weeks of holidays per year.
Child Care Beneift (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR)
Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate are subsidies provided by the Australian Government to approved care services to help families meet the out of pockets costs of care. These subsidies are then used to reduce the amount that parents are required to pay to the centre. Child Care Benefit is based on each family’s income and the onus is on each family to ensure they have a current Assessment Notice in order to receive the benefit. Full fees with be charged if you do not have a current assessment.
What do I pack?
What do I need to pack in my child's bag?
- Complete spare set of clothes, training pants if toileting.
- Items the toddler is attached to, ie. Dummy, teddy bear, etc.
- If your child is settling a family photo is very comforting.
Play and Learn Centres use Kids Gourmet Food who are a catering company exclusively devoted to providing fresh, chilled (not frozen), pre prepared meals to Child Care & Early Learning Centres. Using fresh ingredients and creating healthy, home style dishes with child friendly flavors, KGF strives to be known for quality, reliability and consistency.
The service will provide all sunscreen.
Security Cameras across the service ensure everyone’s safety and can only be viewed by the service Director and Licensee Julie Watts.
